Code of Conduct has been established for Force Soccer Club players, coaches and parents within our club. Code of conduct will address how our teams interact with one another (in person, at tournaments, and on and off the field), how players treat other teams, coach and player interactions, as well as social media comments from players and parents.
Academy Players U5-U8
- I will remember soccer is an opportunity to learn and have fun.
- I will do my best each day, remembering that all players have talents and weaknesses, including me.
- I will treat everyone with respect - myself, my coach and teammates, other teams’ coaches and players, referees, my family, and spectators.
- I will play by the rules.
- I will have a positive attitude and encourage others.
- I will use good sportsmanship and set an example for others.
- I know these rules apply not only at games and while traveling with my team, but at all events related to Force Soccer Club (practices, trainings, team parties, etc.)
- I will talk with an adult if I have a concern about guidelines not being followed.
Select / Elite / Premier Players U9 & Up
- I will remember soccer is an opportunity to learn and have fun.
- I will do my best each day, remembering that all players have talents and weaknesses, including me.
- I will treat my coaches, other players and coaches, game officials, other administrators, and fans with respect, especially with regard to religion, race, color, national origin, sex, height, weight, familial status, ability, sexual orientation, and/or other personal attributes. This respect includes communication through the use of social media.
- I will play by the rules.
- I will have a positive attitude and encourage others.
- I will use good sportsmanship and set an example for others.
- While traveling, including away tournaments, I will conduct myself in a manner that reflects positively on myself, my family, my team, and Force Soccer Club.
- I will not possess, consume or distribute alcohol, illegal drugs, tobacco (including electronic products - vaping), marijuana, and/or unauthorized prescription drugs before, during or after any Force Soccer event.
- I know these rules apply not only at games and while traveling with my team, but at all events related to Force Soccer Club (practices, trainings, team parties, etc.)
- I will follow WMYSA’s rules and regulations
- I will talk with an adult if I have a concern about guidelines not being followed.
Parents / Guardians / Spectators
- I will encourage good sportsmanship by demonstrating positive support for all players, coaches, game officials, and administrators.
- I will place the emotional and physical well-being of all players ahead of any personal desire to win.
- I will support the coaches, officials, and administrators working with my child, in order to encourage a positive and enjoyable experience for all.
- I will remember that the game is for the players, not for the adults.
- I will treat players, coaches, game officials, administrators, and fans with respect, especially with regard to religion, race, color, national origin, sex, height, weight, familial status, ability, sexual orientation, and/or other personal attributes. This respect includes communication through the use of social media.
- I will teach and expect my child to treat other players, coaches, game officials, administrators, and fans with respect.
- I will be positive and constructive.
- I will not get into arguments with the opposing team’s parents, players, or coaches.
- I will not go onto the field during the game.
- I will not criticize game officials.
- I acknowledge that Force Fields are tobacco and alcohol free and will abide by that.
- I will refrain from any activity or conduct that may be detrimental or reflect adversely upon WMYSA, its members (including Force Soccer Club) or its programs.
- In summary, I will try to remember at all times that I am teaching my child through my behaviors. I will keep integrity in mind as I show my best face at soccer games and events.
- I know these rules apply not only at games and while traveling with my team, but at all events related to Force Soccer Club (practices, trainings, team parties, etc.)
Coaches / Volunteers
- I will never place the value of winning before the safety and welfare of all players.
- I will show respect for players, other coaches, game officials, and parents, especially with regard to religion, race, color, national origin, sex, height, weight, familial status, ability, sexual orientation, and/or other personal attributes. This respect includes communication through the use of social media.
- I will lead by example, demonstrating fair play and sportsmanship. Profanity, profane gestures, arguing, inciting disruptive behavior by spectators and/or players, or any conduct not in the spirit of good sportsmanship may require disciplinary action from the affiliate.
- I will conduct myself in a positive manner, keeping in mind that youth have a greater need for example, instruction, encouragement, and motivation than for criticism. I will be the primary soccer role model.
- I will demonstrate knowledge of the rules of the game and teach these rules to my players.
- I will not tolerate inappropriate behavior, of players or other volunteers. regardless of the situation.
- I will never knowingly jeopardize the eligibility and participation of a student-athlete.
- I will complete required “paperwork,” or administrative tasks, and communicate with stakeholders in a timely manner and with integrity.
- I acknowledge that Force Fields are tobacco and alcohol free and will abide by that.
- I will refrain from any activity or conduct that may be detrimental or reflect adversely upon WMYSA, its members (including Force Soccer Club) or its programs.
- I will follow WMYSA’s Rules and Regulations
- I know these rules apply not only at games and while traveling with my team, but at all events related to Force Soccer Club (practices, trainings, team parties, etc.)
- I will report behavior that is not in line with this code of conduct. And, if violations are reported to me, I will report them to Force’s Board of Directors ASAP.
