Coach's Coordinator - Travis Timmons

In June 2022, Travis Timmons joined the Force Soccer Club as the Coach's Coordinator. He's coached for several years, starting at Kalamazoo Soccer Club when his kids were 7 and 9. As the Coach's Coordinator, Travis is responsible for yearly tryouts, providing guidance and instruction to individual coaches. The overall goal is to ensure that each team has a qualified head coach and make annual recommendations to the Force Soccer Club Board regarding coaching staff for the next soccer year.

Coaching Qualifications

  •  U.S. Soccer National C License  - 2023

My Ideology

I believe in a player-first environment. In this setting, the player experience is what should be stressed. This includes development (individual and team) as well as having fun. When developing players, they should be given the tools to make their own decisions on the field. Which is why winning (in my opinion) is not the end goal, but the byproduct of proper, long-term development, as well as empowering the player. When done properly, the player will enjoy the sport of soccer (the "fun" part from above) and avoid burnout down the road.
