Welcome to Force Soccer Club

History

Force Soccer Club was founded in 1984 and features players from mostly Plainwell, Otsego, Allegan, Kalamazoo, Martin, Richland, and Delton. Force Soccer Club found its beginning as the "Plainwell Force Girls Soccer Club" as a way to promote and develop players for the Plainwell High School girls soccer team.

After a few years boys teams were added, then "Plainwell" was also dropped to open the club up to other surrounding cities. Much like the game of soccer, Force Soccer Club has grown substantially over the years, currently fielding 22 teams from U9 to U17 in both boys and girls.

Guiding Principles

Force Soccer Club is committed to its original principles:

  • To teach the game of soccer
  • To help each player reach his or her highest potential
  • To build a better community through the active involvement of our teams, coaches and athletes.

Strives to create an environment in which players are provided the necessary instruction to effectively develop both individual and team skills. Through these skills players develop self-confidence, teamwork, good sportsmanship, and community pride.

Level of Play

We compete in multiple levels of soccer including Select, Elite, Premier, and State Cup.  Accordingly, Force Soccer Club strives to field teams that will compete effectively and be successful. The game of soccer is meant to be fun for young players and this should always be kept in perspective by parents, players and coaches.

About
