U5-U8 Academy

In 2019, the Academy was established to grow the Club and have young players to develop their soccer skills. The Academy focuses on engaging players and developing skills - growing their love for the game of soccer. The first year, Force Soccer Club had over 130 players registered in the Academy. 

Registration is CLOSED for the Force Soccer Club Academy (birth years 2020-2017). There are NO TRYOUTS to participate. 

• Boys and girls practice together 
• Registration fee - $100 and includes a jersey (includes the Fall and Spring sessions)
• Registrations for our U5/U6 Academy (2020/2019 birth years) will be capped at 50 players, and 60 players for our U7/U8 Academy (2018/2017 birth years)
• Practices start in August / Fall and April / Spring
• Practices run for 7 weeks (each session)

Learning the fundamentals of the game in game like situations. Understanding the purpose and structure of the game, direction of play, and basic rules.

• Ages: 4 - 5
• Ball Size: #3
• Practices: Monday's @ 6 pm at the Force Soccer Club Complex (106th Avenue) 

Learning the basic understanding of attacking, defending, and transition by playing together.

• Ages: 6 - 7
• Ball Size: #3
• Practices: Wednesday's @ 6 pm at the Force Soccer Club Complex (106th Avenue)
• Games: Sunday’s @ Kalamazoo Soccer Complex (Drake Road), Portage Practice Fields or River Oaks Soccer Complex. Games are played 4v4 with no goalkeeper. Twelve games (6 in the Fall and 6 in the Spring).

$100 and includes a jersey (includes the Fall and Spring sessions) 

• U5 & U6 - 14 practices (7 in the Fall and 7 in the Spring), and one Force Soccer Club Academy shirt.
• U7 & U8 - 12 games (6 in the Fall and 6 in the Spring), 14 practices (7 in the Fall and 7 in the Spring), and one Force Soccer Club Academy shirt.
